Sleep Is A Poor Substitute

This freebie was inspired by a night in college long, long ago. It was right before finals and I was complaining about needing sleep. One of my wonderfully smart-assed friends responded, "Sleep is a poor substitute for coffee." Year later, the memory of this comment inspired this freebie.

Do not backstitch those lines in when stitching the pattern.

Blackwork Teddy Bear

We've been thrilled with the wonderful reception our baby blackwork designs have received. However, while we may revisit this theme in the future, all good things must come to an end. The final design in our Baby Blackwork Designs is the Blackwork Teddy Bear. Once again, we haven't had a chance to stitch this one ourselves so the first person to send us a stitched picture will get it displayed in this post with full credit.

Blackwork Rattle

Welcome back to Cuppa Joe Designs. I'm happy to be able to share the 3rd design in our Blackwork Baby series...our blackwork rattle. We offer the design with either a pink ribbon or a blue ribbon on the rattle making it easy to customize for your favorite little one. Due to life with my three kids getting in the way, I haven't had time to stitch this one myself. If any of you get this stitched before we do, you can have your stitched piece displayed in this post as the example of how it will look.
